I’m not here to tell you what percentage of women don’t love their bodies or aren’t happy with they’re bodies because we all know most people will never be satisfied with they’re bodies, even if they train hard and eat healthily, people who think they will never be good enough. Wanting to look better and grieving for that perfect body only trains your brain to think you’ll never be good enough, which isn’t true. Living with the body you have and not loving it causes low self-esteem.
Your body is like your vehicle, it’s what gets you everywhere in life, what takes you to places and what you have to live with for the rest of your life, don’t damage or break your vehicle down, respect it, love it, and take care of it because it’s what people look at first before they get to know you.
You have this life only and what does it matter if your skinny, curvy, tall, short, fat, big-boned, etc… You don’t win a grand prize for losing weight or being skinny, but you do live a longer life being healthy.
Search for the beauty in yourself and love yourself because as soon as people see you love your body and don’t care what others think, they will start loving their bodies too. We have flaws for reasons, we all do, others might say look past your flaws, but I say don’t stop looking at your flaws, just love them the way they are.
Life is too short to waste hating your body, you got stuff to go and do.
“Never be ashamed of yourself. Because you are born into one skin. You can scar it, stretch it, burn it, tan it, peel it. But you are always in it, so you might as well learn to love it.”- Unknown
